Course Description
Learn the art of creating custom theatrical dentures and creature teeth in this intensive two-day workshop. Designed for makeup artists, creature designers, prop makers, and Halloween enthusiasts, this hands-on course will guide students through the complete process of designing, sculpting, molding, and fabricating professional acrylic teeth.
Students will learn industry techniques for creating both wearable theatrical dentures and non-wearable prop teeth for masks, creatures, and display pieces. Participants will also gain experience using vacuum-forming techniques to create custom dental trays and appliances.
No prior experience is necessary. This workshop focuses on safe, practical methods used throughout the special effects and theatrical industries.
Day 1: Design & Sculpting
Introduction to theatrical teeth and dental materials
Taking dental impressions and creating positive casts
Making silicone master molds of casts
Designing and sculpting custom teeth and dentures
Preparing sculptures for silicone molding
Day 2: Molding & Fabrication
Creating silicone molds
Fabricating teeth using dental acrylic and resin
Painting, staining, and finishing techniques
Introduction to vacuum-forming applications
Final fitting and finishing
Students will leave with completed pieces, molds, and the knowledge needed to continue creating custom theatrical teeth and creature dentures on their own.

Courses/Workshops will be cancelled 7 days prior to the event if there is low enrollment at the time of the Course/Workshop. When a Course/Workshop is cancelled within this timeframe, candidates will be notified immediately via email and will receive a full refund.
If the Course/Workshop registration was not completed online you will be refunded within 2 weeks after the cancellation.
If you cancel your registration within 7 days of purchasing the Course/Workshop, you’re entitled to a full refund.
If you cancel your registration within 7 days leading up to the Course/Workshop, you’re entitled to a partial refund due to the cost of materials purchased for reserving your spot in the Course/Workshop. You will be partially refunded within 2 weeks after the cancellation.
